Redes digitales, conocimiento y postverdad: Los desafíos para la democracia en tiempos de pandemia

Los regímenes de verdad que estuvieron vigentes, aunque siempre contestados, durante el siglo XX, están siendo aceleradamente socavados por diferentes factores: la creciente influencia de intereses corporativos en algunas ramas de la ciencia; la reconfiguración del ámbito de lo público por las redes digitales, igualmente gobernadas por lógicas oligopólicas de lucro; y el aprovechamiento de la pérdida de referentes compartidos por grupos de interés políticos, sobre todo las extremas derechas. La pandemia ha acelerado este proceso, que amenaza las posibilidades de construir salidas democráticas a la crisis múltiple y civilizatoria que están viviendo las sociedades humanas
