A terceira onda de colonização sistêmica
capitalismo de plataforma, algoritmos e a crise da razão pública

Este trabalho propõe uma atualização crítica da tese habermasiana da colonização sistêmica do mundo da vida para compreender a intensificação da lógica sistêmica promovida pelo capitalismo de plataforma. Sustenta-se a hipótese de uma “terceira onda” de colonização sistêmica marcada pela plataformização algorítmica da vida social, pela manipulação automatizada das interações e pela extração contínua de dados. A partir da Teoria da Ação Comunicativa e de Uma Nova Mudança Estrutural da Esfera Pública, analisam-se os impactos do processo de plataformização sobre a deliberação democrática, com atenção às formas de injustiça epistêmica, desinformação e exclusão algorítmica. Por fim, descrevem-se caminhos normativos para a reconstrução da esfera pública.
