Abstract

It analyzes the theoretical and empirical relationships between the terms “Information Literacy” and “Digital Inclusion”; “Information Competence” and “Digital Inclusion”; “Critical Competence in Information” and “Digital Inclusion”. Of a basic nature, bibliographical, documental, descriptive and content analysis. For that, the quali-quantitative method is used. As a result, it is stated that the main challenge for CoInfo in the current situation is centered on the processes of systemic digital exclusion on a global scale, as there is no Information Society without citizen awareness, as well as epistemic justice in the digital age. Therefore, to state that the acquisition of CoInfo goes against the dialectical opportunistic appropriation of politicians, who use digital inclusion as something done and finished simply by donating and installing computer kits and internet access in Brazil, in the last 23 years implementation of the information society.

    Mestre em Ciência da Informação (2023), pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência da Informação da Universidade Federal de Alagoas (PPGCI-UFAL), Graduação em Biblioteconomia (2011), pela Universidade Federal de Alagoas (UFAL). Possui certificação de excelência acadêmica pela pesquisa desenvolvida sobre Biblioteca Pública e Inclusão social e Inclusão Digital. Atualmente é Membro dos Grupos de Pesquisa em Informação e Comunicação (GRUPIC), da Universidade Federal do Amazonas (UFAM), em Mídias, Tecnologias e História (MITECHIS), da Universidade Federal do Tocantins, do Campus Porto Nacional e do Grupo de Estudos sobre Competência em Informação na Educação Profissional e Tecnológica do Instituto Federal do Ceará (IFCE), do Campus Cedro e, do Fundador e Diretor de Formação e Qualificação do Sindicato dos Bibliotecários do Estado de Alagoas (SINBIBLIO-AL), e Coordenador do Observatório das Bibliotecas em Alagoas (ODB-AL). Tem experiência em Implantação e Implementação de Projetos em Bibliotecas, Institutos, Ongs e Startups. Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Amazonas, belonging to the Librarianship Course. Professor of the Graduate Program in Information Science (PPGCI/UFAL), in the line of research Production, Mediation and Information Management. Academic Coordinator of the Faculty of Information and Communication (FIC). Adhering member of MINOM-ICOM. Leader of the Information and Communication Research Group (GRUPIC). External evaluator of the Amazonas State Teaching Council.     Effective Professor in the Library Science course at the Federal University of Rondônia Foundation (UNIR). She was Visiting Professor of the Graduate Program in Information Science and the Library Science Course at the Federal University of Alagoas (2020-2022). Post-Doctorate in Information Science (2019) by PPGCI/UFPB. PhD in Information Science (2015) with a PhD internship abroad at the University of Zaragoza - Spain, funded by CAPES (2014/2015). Master in Information Science from UFPB (2012). Specialist in School Supervision and Educational Guidance by UFPB (2002). Graduated in Librarianship from UFPB (2006) and in Pedagogy from UFPB (1999). Master the Spanish language. English and Italian language student. Experience in Education at different levels (Higher Education and Early Childhood and Basic Education) and modalities (Youth and Adult Education, Distance Education and Rural Education), with extensive experience as a literacy teacher for children and young people and adults. Has experience with Pedagogical Advising and Consulting; Teacher Training and Educational Public Policies. He acted as a teacher in the initial and continued training of the Programa Brasil Alfabetizado in the State of Paraíba and in the municipality of João Pessoa.
