Without intending to exhaust the topic, this work aims to reflect on the concept of Modernityunderstood here as the construction of a perspective or project for the future.
The starting point is the theoretical reflections of Jurgen Habermas and in this sense it intends
to be a contribution to the elaboration of an emancipatory notion of Modernity and can also serve as a
contribution to the debate surrounding the direction of an emancipatory reconstruction of the country.
