INTEGRAÇÃO ESTRATÉGICA ENTRE MODELOS DE GOVERNANÇA BASEADOS EM ESG E TECNOLOGIAS DE CIDADES INTELIGENTES
uma matriz conceitual para fomentar a participação cidadã e avançar a agenda de sustentabilidade ambiental

Este artigo teórico busca elucidar a intersecção crítica entre os paradigmas emergentes de Cidades Inteligentes e os princípios de ESG (Ambiental, Social e Governança), propondo uma matriz conceitual robusta para alinhar estrategicamente estas duas vertentes. A pesquisa sintetiza as principais teorias sobre cidades inteligentes e modelos de governança ESG, preenchendo lacunas significativas na literatura existente sobre como estas entidades urbanas dinâmicas podem se esforçar para a construção de uma sociedade mais inclusiva e sustentável. Além de desvendar os desafios inerentes à desigualdade no acesso às tecnologias inteligentes, o estudo mergulha profundamente nos mecanismos de participação cidadã efetiva e na promoção de uma governança transparente e responsável. Utilizando uma abordagem multidisciplinar, o artigo avalia o impacto potencial de estratégias interconectadas em diferentes escalas—desde políticas públicas até intervenções empresariais—apresentando um quadro de avaliação e métricas específicas para medir o sucesso na implementação de iniciativas alinhadas com os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) da ONU e as práticas de responsabilidade corporativa. Os resultados apoiam a premissa de que a integração estratégica de tecnologias de cidades inteligentes e princípios de ESG resultam em benefícios significativos, incluindo uma maior transparência governamental, participação cidadã acentuada e avanços significativos em metas de sustentabilidade ambiental. Ao fornecer percepções acionáveis para decisores políticos, urbanistas e líderes corporativos, a pesquisa contribui de forma inovadora para o desenvolvimento de uma cidade inteligente que é não apenas eficiente e tecnologicamente avançada, mas também socialmente justa e ambientalmente sustentável.
