considerações para (re)pensar a avaliação documental

Abstract

Este artigo analisa o processo de avaliação documental em arquivos da web sob a perspectiva da inclusão social, buscando compreender de que maneira a literatura sobre avaliação documental pode contribuir para a construção de arquivos da web que promovam a justiça social. O objetivo geral consiste em identificar, na literatura arquivística e em alguns casos empíricos, elementos que sugiram formas de compor arquivos da web alinhados com os princípios de justiça social. Para fins metodológicos, foram adotadas as pesquisas bibliográfica e documental. Dez iniciativas de arquivamento da web foram apresentadas. Reconhece-se a necessidade de repensar os processos de avaliação do conteúdo web, considerando os contextos culturais diversos e as desigualdades sistêmicas que podem resultar em perda permanente de registros históricos. Argumenta-se que o arquivamento da web requer que as dimensões culturais que influenciam as decisões sobre preservação sejam consideradas. Este estudo oferece insights sobre avaliação no arquivamento da web, servindo como ponto de partida para pesquisas futuras.
