Abstract

Digital transformation has increased the complexity of business environments and emphasized the importance of data-driven decision-making. In this context, the integration of Business Intelligence (BI) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems emerges as a strategic factor for enhancing operational efficiency and analytical capabilities. This article aims to propose a set of strategic guidelines, grounded in scientific literature, to support the integration of BI and ERP systems in data-driven organizations. To achieve this, a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted, complemented by bibliometric analysis and a qualitative-quantitative approach. The results identified four key dimensions: data infrastructure and architecture, operational efficiency and decision support, strategic management through performance indicators, and implementation challenges. It is concluded that the structured adoption of these guidelines can strengthen information governance, increase the value derived from data, and promote more agile, intelligent, and strategically aligned decision-making processes.
