La transformación digital ha incrementado la complejidad de los entornos empresariales y ha enfatizado la importancia de la toma de decisiones basada en datos. En este contexto, la integración de sistemas de Business Intelligence (BI) y Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) se presenta como un factor estratégico para mejorar la eficiencia operativa y la capacidad analítica de las organizaciones. Este artículo tiene como objetivo proponer un conjunto de directrices estratégicas, fundamentadas en la literatura científica, para orientar la integración de sistemas BI y ERP en organizaciones orientadas a los datos. Para ello, se realizó una Revisión Sistemática de la Literatura (RSL), complementada con un análisis bibliométrico y un enfoque cualitativo-cuantitativo. Los resultados identificaron cuatro dimensiones clave: infraestructura y arquitectura de datos, eficiencia operativa y apoyo a la toma de decisiones, gestión estratégica basada en indicadores de desempeño y desafíos de implementación. Se concluye que la adopción estructurada de estas directrices puede fortalecer la gobernanza de la información, aumentar el valor generado a partir de los datos y promover procesos de toma de decisiones más ágiles, inteligentes y alineados con la estrategia organizacional.
