Características das agendas de investigação publicadas em jornais académicos

Resumo

As agendas de investigação são uma importante ferramenta para as comunidades de investigadores darem um propósito e um rumo à pesquisa que realizam. Elas são, ao mesmo tempo, uma análise e um diagnóstico; uma reflexão crítica ou um debate participativo acerca das lacunas do quadro de conhecimento atual; e uma proposta ou sugestão de atuação. Este artigo propõe-se dar um contributo acerca da forma e do conteúdo das agendas de investigação publicadas em artigos de revistas académicas, analisando, para tal, uma amostra de artigos publicados em 2009. A escolha deste ano teve por objetivo obter uma amostra de artigos muito citados, e, portanto, de elevado impacto científico. O estudo permite uma primeira caracterização das agendas de investigação, publicadas sob a forma de artigo, mostrando que elas assentam, fundamentalmente, no enquadramento conceptual e no estabelecimento das prioridades de investigação. Com frequência as questões de natureza metodológica são também abordadas. Este estudo revela ainda que para a elaboração das agendas de investigação os autores, frequentemente se recorre a pesquisas sistematizadas da literatura existente. Este estudo representa assim um contributo quer para editores de revistas académicas, confrontados com submissões de artigos, versando agendas de investigação, quer para potenciais autores.
