Author Biography

  • Cecília Leite Oliveira, Brazilian Science and Technology Information Institute - Ibict

    Current Director of the Brazilian Science and Technology Information Institute - Ibict. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Arts from the University of Brasília (1977), a Master's in Information Science from the University of Brasília (1996) and a Ph.D. in Information Science from the University of Brasília (2003). She held a Formative Instance at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain in the Program Puntos de Información Cultural-P.I.C. In 2002, in her Doctoral research, she developed a digital inclusion methodology for social inclusion (Integrated Digital School - IDE) was the first academic work of the University of Brasília that became Law 3275 of the Federal District Government, making its use mandatory. in public education. This methodology is internationally recognized and awarded. Researcher at EMBRAPA in Technological Information, career assigned to the then Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communication (MCTIC), current Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations (MCTI) to act as General Coordinator of Research and Development of New Products (CGPD) of the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (Ibict). She has experience in the field of Information Science, the use of new technologies (ICT) for informational solutions in the various fields of Information Science, mainly in the following topics: information science, digital inclusion, information management, social inclusion, management knowledge and innovation.
