This article has shown the existence of three important relations to the comprehension of science, technology and innovation, and their implications to sociological thought. Technoscience has appeared as a fundamental concept for understanding the distribution and the application of science and technology within a society through certain State actions. Moreover, there were evidences that international relations regarding different nations have significantly influenced a specific social innovation construction process. Finally, empirical analysis’ results have indicated that an analytical triangle has been formed when Reason of State was at stake in an less developed country like Brazil.
