The objective of this study was to investigate how to configure the scientific production of librarians, active in the Integrated Library System at the University of São Paulo (SIBi / USP). To achieve the objective proposed, theoretical and empirical research was conducted, prioritizing the bibliometric approach associated with questionnaires, for the elaboration and analysis of science indicators. The results showed that the habit and constant production of scientific papers developed by librarians prepare them to face problems arising from their work routine.
