E-Government services should be available to citizens in appropriate government channels, but the adoption of these services is still far from a satisfactory level worldwide. This study aimed to map, at the international level, quantitative empirical studies on the adoption of e-government service technologies. The research mapping was performed and found 40 articles published in 22 journals. The inputs of this article can contribute to the identification of factors that influence the adoption of e-government systems in the international context and the development of future work in Brazil.
