On-line election campaigns
challenges to candidates' insertion in the digital agora

This article aims to contribute to the theoretical debate on the development stage of studies of election campaigns on the internet. The intention is to reflect on the challenges that will be faced by candidates in the 2014 Brazilian elections, regarding inclusion in the digital environment. The internet, preponderant in the processes that resulted in the manifestations of the "Brazilian spring", will be considered in relation to risks and uncertainties to the candidates, due to the destabilization that it promotes in political communication.
