RESUMO Esse artigo aborda as atuais questões das convergências da hipermídia com a memória, a narratividade oral, as histórias de vida e o patrimônio cultural local. Tem-se por objetivo mostrar como o sistema HiperMemo: Acervo Hipermídia de Memórias representa o elemento de convergência entre as novas tecnologias digitais (a linguagem hipermídia), a memória e o patrimônio cultural.

ABSTRACT This paper discusses the convergence of hypermedia with memory, oral narrative, life histories and local cultural heritage. Its aim is to present the HiperMemo system (HiperMemo System: A Hypermedia Collection of Memories) as an element of convergence between new digital technologies (hypermedia language), memory and cultural heritage.
