RESUMO Este trabalho apresenta uma reflexão sobre os mecanismos de mediação e da materialidade da informação existentes nos regimes de poder voltados para a vigilância, disciplina e controle, com base na crítica de Foucault ao panopticon e às instituições disciplinares dos séculos XVII e XVIII, e nos conceitos de vigilância líquida, vigilância distribuída e panspectron, apresentados respectivamente por Bauman (2013), Bruno (2013) e Braman (2006b).

ABSTRACT This paper presents a reflection on the mechanisms of mediation and the materiality of existing information on power schemes focused on surveillance, discipline and control, based on the criticism of Foucault to panopticon and the disciplinary institutions of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and concepts of liquid surveillance, distribuited surveillance and panspectron, presented respectively by Bauman (2013), Bruno (2013) and Braman (2006b).
