Artistic resindecy

moving and mobility for a laboratory

  • This article aims to present an artistic residency experience in the Body and Art Laboratory at the Institute of Health and Society of Unifesp Baixada Santista. Our proposal is that this report fosters the transit between artists and scientists, their dialogues and possible exchanges, stimulating a diversity of ways of creating and producing knowledge about health, but also in other fields, based on aesthetic experience and conviviality. It is imperative that knowledge produced at the university be able to circulate and dialogue with other political and social sectors in a world on the verge of a climatic catastrophe. Bridges between scientists, laboratories and the community are necessary and need to be built on a daily basis: an artist can help a lot in this endeavor.
