ABSTRACT In april 2017 we convened the “International Workshop: Open and Collaborative Production" in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The event gathered around 40 activists and professionals, academics and policy makers working on open and collaborative initiatives. The purpose was to explore how new forms of open and collaborative production can promote more inclusive and sustainable development paths in Latin America. The 'World Cafe' methodology was used in order to work on four previously identified topics. This paper reports workshop development, discussion and concluding ideas on the topic, highlighting the need of local spaces for reflection.
Keywords: Open and Collaborative Production; Sustainable Development; Latin America.
