ABSTRACT The knowledge organization can be studied under many aspects, in this paper, the aim is the descriptive representation. The historical, social and political context that fills the document and the user is critical to the reflection of the role of descriptive representation. It is noteworthy that the authorship can be represented in both bibliographic descriptions and the access points. To support this observation will be used some posters from a group of French artists called Atelier Populaire who promoted the class struggle in The May 1968. Conclusively, there are numerous elements that can be highlighted or disregarded in the representation, they must consider the different contexts.
