This article discusses the issue of neutrality in the production and editing of entries in Wikipedia, as well as the proximity between a scientist ethos and a wikipedist ethos. During this discussion, clues are launched to explain the success of this platform in combating misinformation, fake news and the problem of the post-truth. We also discussed the main criticisms and virtues with regard to the reliability of this digital encyclopedia, reflecting later on the importance of thinking about models to carry out the fight against the challenges of disinformation. In the end, we discussed the possibility of introducing good wikipedist practices in the processes of construction and diffusion of information and news, namely with the proposal of a semi-open collaborative news regime.
