In this article, we describe and analyze issues related to pandemic management strategies within the Federal Government in interface with the flows of (mis)information related to COVID-19. Therefore, we resorted to the considerations of the Actor-Network Theory (ANT) to develop a description of heterogeneous elements (human and non-human) and reflect on the management strategies and flow of (mis)information related to the pandemic and its impacts on the conduct of health policies in Brazil. Our analysis indicates that the Federal coordination was insufficient to manage and mitigate the various faces of the systemic crisis caused by the pandemic and helps to understand how policy options of the current Federal Government promoted the dissemination of misinformation with negative effects on the management of the COVID- 19 pandemic in Brazil
