This article was built in the form of a narrative review, with the objective of reflecting on the transfer of technologies in the current times of the Anthropocene, an era in which the actions of the human being reverberate directly in their environments, with indelible impacts that alter the course of the planet's history. The study was structured in two parts. In the first one, it turned to questioning the basic concepts of technology transfer across borders of societies, as well as the resulting change through this new perspective. In the second, more specifically, the theme was illustrated by means of the diverse elucubrations of Yuk Hui, Umberto Eco and Beatriz Sarlo on the human being-doing. As a way of the studies continuation, it is suggested to expand the debate under the “voices” of authors from other diversities
