Since its enactment in 2011, the LAI has represented an important initiative by the Brazilian federal government towards greater transparency, accountability, democracy and social participation. Since then, a wide range of studies has been interested in understanding its implementation in the context of Brazilian public administration. From a literature review, the objective was to understand what the advances and challenges of the implementation of LAI in the last decade were.
