Librarianship and Information Science (LIS) research the subjects and cultures that cross this scientific field. In the scientific progress of the area, it is notable that transdisciplinarity is substantial for a humanist understanding of the information units. At this point, dialogues, methods, and research proposals make efforts to grow this area and his relatives’ fields. With that in mind, this research aims to analyze the discourses on sexual stigmas in the light of the “Estigma do passivo sexual” by Michel Misse, focusing on the representativeness of sexualities, semantics and metaphors inserted in everyday life. This research is the participatory method with a qualitative approach and descriptive objectives. Finally, it could be noted that fallacious discourse and cognitive biases are socially rooted and demand a holistic and critical look at the judgment of the other, especially in the practices of LIS actors, who deal with information as a form of social emancipation
