This article investigates the implications of Industry 4.0 in work environments, focusing on technology's contributions to job roles and aiming to understand positive methods for changing mindsets toward technology in this context. Using a deductive approach, the results reveal a significant transformation in work environments due to the implementation of Industry 4.0. Automation and systems integration have proven effective in enhancing operational efficiency, leading to reduced errors, increased productivity, and optimized resources. The introduction of technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) has enabled massive real-time data collection, facilitating decision-making based on precise information and enabling predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize operational availability. Regarding human aspects, there has been a shift in the roles performed by employees, with repetitive tasks being assumed by automated systems, allowing workers to focus on more strategic and creative activities. This highlights the growing importance of socio-emotional and cognitive skills in the modern professional environment.
