This essay approaches the process of knowledge socialization by discussing the relations and the unfoldings which are implicit in the choice of the term divulgation both in a national and international scientific field. In a second moment, the implications of this process to the knowledge appropriation and production are presented. Then, afterwards, it is discussed the incorporation of the new information and communication technologies in the Physical Education specific field. At last, it is argued the importance of the constitution of a new culture for those who research the divulgation of the knowledge related to the great public and to the society.
