Notes about the raped body in Latin American photographic productions

ABSTRACT Contrary to the usual uses of images by photojournalism, crime series, realities shows and many others materials illustrated by imagens of violence, certain Latin American works have used images captured from reality to reflect other statements about crimes and violence of genres. This text notes how certain works intend to re-significate the images of violated bodies of women, presenting the works of Regina Galindo and Ana Mendieta
