This article aims to map the international debate on the regulation of digital platforms. Although there are already a number of legislations focusing on such agents, such as data protection, copyright protection or accountability in the case of content withdrawals, different factors have started to drive international debate on new rules to discipline their activities. companies. In the literature and among social actors, from companies to governments, through civil society organizations, a dispute arises in the international arena for possible new laws and regulations.
