This article aims to analyze infodemics based on the relationship between cognitive subjects and their Informational Practices. This analysis is characterized exploratory research based on a literature review of master’s dissertations and doctoral theses on these practices. The analysis developed shows that information is a social practice of cognitive subjects or informational subjects that develop on attribution and communication of meanings (representations of reality from individual and collective contexts). From this understanding, it is considered that two aspects structure infodemics: the simultaneity of information and the impossibilities of information. The simultaneity is characterized as the possibility that information can generate knowledge as well as infodemics. The impossibilities of information are related to informational barriers. Such barriers are inherent to the informational phenomenon, as they are related to the informational subject and his abilities to determine his informational needs, as well as to develop searches and effective uses of information in the context of precarious informational competences and complex and adverse environments
