Interview with Joelson Ferreira, a land reform settler, social movement leader, and one of the founders of Teia dos Povos, on agroecology, the climate crisis, and political disputes over land, territory, and knowledge. Drawing on the experience of the Terra Vista Settlement (Arataca, Bahia), Joelson Ferreira discusses the central role of soil in the agroecological transition, the destruction driven by agribusiness, and the limits of global climate negotiations, advocating for the recovery of ancestral knowledge and alliances among peoples.
