This article focus the most dynamic networks that have been articulated in the Brazilian public system of higher education and research in order to make an overview analysis of the interaction patterns and to evaluate the dual typology of the traditional triple helix (university-company-government) and the public-social triple helix (university-government-society). Throughout this discussion assistance is supplied to warranty plurality and depth for the debate about the actors and the driven forces that shape the architecture of the networks of the economic and social development in the Brazilian higher education system.
