This article seeks, within the framework of political science, to draw some explanations for the protests of June 2013 in Brazil. The manifestations that occurred in that period have become an interesting phenomenon for political analysis for its sharp symbolism in spite of the little practical effect it had on effective social changes. Throughout this essay, will build a brief description of the protests, the analysis of possible relationships with the Brazilian cycle of political activity, an evaluation of what these protests have brought to the socio-political repertoire and an interpretation of what was this movement in the streets of large cities.
