The subject of this paper is the adaptation of comic strip narratives in mobiles for digital reading. With the aim of understanding the implications of technology for comic strips adapted to tablets and cell phones, the research method adopted was the Grounded Theory. The cultural phenomena explored (LAPERRIÈRE, 2010) are Infinite Comics and Madefire, both created exclusively for mobiles. The cross-examination of characteristics in traditional and digital narratives is followed by selective coding. The article concludes that the limits of narratives can be explored in ways that differ from the current ones.
