The new global cycle of struggles is characterized by a techno-political dimension. Revolts occur where open source knowledge, techniques, practices and strategies are learned and replicated with improvements connected by different crowds. The Spanish movement-event 15M has shown a fundamental part of this techne is cartography, revealing its enormous importance for the processes of self-organization, distributed and acesses of social imagination. As a production of a commons, this practice confronting the fundamental issues surrounding the reproduction of life in the contemporary metropolis, maps have 15M new features and technical specifications and on a scale not previously practiced: network visualization, concept maps are updated in a synergy of the street network to the network, systems and signals alerts for swarms, semantic wikis georeferenced. In his techno-social innovation, maps 15M inaugurate a practice we call the art of mapping the connected multitude.
