The National Truth Commission clarified cases of human rights violations that occurred in universities during the military dictatorship, revealing previously omitted, distorted, or denied information to society. Therefore, the objective of this research was to map the information sources recovered by the Research Group called "Human Rights Violations in Universities," described in Chapter 6, Volume 2 of the final report. This investigation was carried out in partnership with university truth commissions, which faced the challenge of recovering information sources. Among the most cited sources are documents produced by the Military Regime, which provided information about the actions of security agents in the university environment. Additionally, the testimony of the repression agent Arminak Cherkezian clarified the functioning of the Special Information Security Advisories and the method applied in monitoring victims. This information is crucial for preparing reports on abuses committed by state agents, as well as for promoting public policies on memory and transitional justice actions
