This paper assesses the suggested channel networks for three Indigenous rap video clips at YouTube in order to understand which are the visibility conditions for this content at Google, Inc.’s video platform. Therefore, this work addresses the conflict between the ideal of communication as a human right and YouTube’s political economy, which materializes in the form of its recommender system’s algorithms, through public data collection with the YouTube Data Tools software. The analysis indicates that, despite the high number of views, the recommender system does not favor these videos and even uses them to promote corporative channels
