This article aims to reflect on the photographs of concentration camps and on the possibilities of reusing these images in new contexts that make it possible to restore their historical and informative value. The visual representation of what took place in the concentration camps is mostly composed of photographs that were taken when the Allied soldiers invaded the camps and released the few prisoners who survived the atrocities that occurred there. After more than seventy years, since they were so publicized on websites of different subjects and social networks and filed without correct description criteria, the problem of decontextualization, misunderstandings and the deletion of important information from many of these photos is perceived.
