Abstract

This is a study whose theme is intellectual property, innovation, and the Spinner model in agribusiness. Has the objective to trace an overview of the relationship between intellectual property, innovation, and the Spinner model in the agribusiness sector. The methodology adopted is a systematic review with a bibliometric step, according to the three laws of bibliometrics, considering the ten most cited articles in the Scopus database between the years 2013 to 2022. The results show a population of 129,362 findings with a sample of 41 articles, in which the three laws of bibliometrics were observed: few authors publish more, some journals repeat themselves and some words appear more frequently. The qualitative analysis allowed us to select 8 articles that deal more specifically with the terms, in which studies that relate agribusiness with innovation, and this one with the Spinner model, stand out. These studies analyze technological innovation in the field, the need for sustainable development, the creation and management of knowledge and the method of assessing the innovation propensity of companies, whether large or small. The results also show that there are many studies that deal with the four themes, however, in an isolated way or in conjunction with two or three, but it shows a lack of studies that address the four themes concomitantly.
