Resumo

El intercambio de conocimiento es un proceso por el cual las empresas adquieren conocimientos y mantienen su competitividad y  adaptabilidad. Al mismo tiempo, compartir puede poner en peligro la singularidad del repositorio de conocimientos de una  empresa, lo que afecta su exclusividad. Esta investigación analiza el intercambio de conocimiento entre empresas en espacios de  coworking y sus consecuencias, considerando las características de este tipo de organizaciones. Se realizó un estudio de caso en  cinco de estos espacios y se recopilaron 31 entrevistas, documentos y observaciones para su posterior análisis de contenido. Las prácticas identificadas muestran que el ambiente de coworking favorece la gestión de la información y el conocimiento y están  asociadas al papel de los gerentes y empleados de los espacios en las interacciones; iniciativas paralelas de los espacios; estructura  y distribución interna; características del entorno externo; plataformas digitales propias y medios interactivos para la comunicación; contacto con  profesionales externos; frecuencia y contenido de los eventos formales promovidos. El estudio contribuye a la gestión de estos  negocios al mostrar que los profesionales independientes y los equipos pequeños están más alineados con la dinámica de los  espacios de coworking; los eventos formales son más favorables para las interacciones, y la facilitación de los gerentes es esencial; las  plataformas digitales propias, Instagram y WhatsApp sostienen las prácticas identificadas y se evidencia el desuso del correo  electrónico.
