Seleção de periódicos científicos para a área da física

O acervo de periódicos científicos do CBPF é analisado pelas citações em NOTAS DE FÍSICA publicadas no período 1970-1973 e pelas consultas por cópias xerox no período agosto-dezembro de 1973 de modo a conduzir à identificação do núcleo mínimo de periódicos requeridos para cobrir os 90% de informação útil. A partir desse conjunto uma proposta ampliada de cobertura bibliográfica é feitas tendo cm vista argumentos suplementares.
Abstract
The set of scientific periodicals in CBPF is hereby analyzed, both from its citations in NOTAS DE FÍSICA during 1970-1973 as well as from records of user's requests for copies of articles taken between August and December 1973. The minimum nucleus is identified as the set which spans 90% of the used information. An extended set for adequate coverage is also suggested by means of suplementary criteria.
