A Semântica atingiu um estágio de desenvolvimento que exige uma classificação bibliográfica adequada para os documentos a ela dedicados. Diversos conceitos são apresentados para deles extrair-se termos que poderiam constar em tal classificação. Uma análise dos termos referentes à Semântica na Edição Desenvolvida da Classe 8 da CDU em português mostra diversos equívocos. Pode-se afirmar que a CDU não acompanhou o desenvolvimento das pesquisas lingüísticas.
Abstract
Semantics has reached such a development that an adequate bibliographic classification is needed to the organisation ofdocuments devoted to it. Several concepts are given in order to identífy terms that could be included in such a classification. Analysis of terms related to Semantics in the UDCFull Edition of Class 8 in Portuguese shows many errors. It can be concluded that UDC has not follovjed the progress in linguistics research.
