The contribution of open access to technological development in the Amazon: an analysis based on curauá fiber (Ananas erectifolius)

Examines open access citations in patents for the species Curauá (Ananas erectifolius). The methodology presents an analysis based on data extracted from the Lens database. The results indicate that open access publications on the subject are categorized in green and gold, understanding that these aspects allow the article to be made available free of charge and without restrictions. It is concluded that open access scientific knowledge can contribute to strengthening the relationship between the actors that make up the scientific knowledge and innovation ecosystems, fostering the development of the region.
