Submission Checklist
Before submitting your document to the journal Ciência da Informação, please check if you have completed all the steps and requirements listed below:
Registration in the OJS System
- Do you have an account in the Open Journal System (OJS)?
- If not, have you registered for a new account?
Document Formatting
- Is the document formatted according to the specific template for the type of submission?
- Have you accessed the corresponding template in the journal's Documents section?
Author Information
- Have all authors provided:
- Full name (as it should appear in the publication)
- Academic title (Doctor, Master, Graduate) and area of specialization
- Institutional affiliation (institution, department, or unit)
- Professional contact (institutional email)
- Academic identifiers (ORCID, Lattes ID, etc.)
Authorship
- In the case of individual authorship, does the author exclusively hold a Doctorate degree?
- For co-authorship, does at least one author hold a Doctorate degree?
- Has the individual contribution of each author been specified according to the CRediT taxonomy?
- Has the Responsibility Declaration been included and duly signed by all authors?
Originality
- Is the submitted contribution original and not under evaluation by another journal?
- If it is under evaluation by another publication, has this situation been reported in the "Comments to the Editor" section?
Supplementary Documents
- Has the Responsibility Declaration been signed by all authors?
- Has the Open Science Compliance Form been completed and signed?
- Has the Artificial Intelligence Use Declaration been completed and signed?
Graphic Elements and Tables
- Are figures, charts, tables, and citations in editable format and translated into English, Spanish, and Portuguese?
- Have images been submitted in separate files, preferably in high resolution (400 dpi) and in TIFF, EPS, or JPEG formats?
References and Citations
- Does the document follow the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in the journal's guidelines?
Submission
- Has the document been submitted exclusively through the Open Journal System (OJS)?
- Have you reviewed the content to ensure compliance with the journal's scope and areas of interest?
Comments to the Editor (if applicable)
- Have you reported and justified any situations of simultaneous evaluation in another publication or preprint in the "Comments to the Editor" section?
Final Notes
- Have all requested corrections and adjustments been made according to the instructions?
- Has the established deadline for adjustments (7 days) been respected?
