Diseño de un programa competencial de Alfabetización Visual y Metaliteracy en educación superior

Resumen

El presente artículo aborda el diseño de un programa competencial de Metaliteracy en Educación Superior. La investigación se desarrolló a partir de los resultados de un proyecto de investigación I+D+i, VOREMETUR, cuyo eje principal fue el empleo de obras de Media Art como objetos digitales educativos (ODE) y objetos de aprendizaje (OA). El campo del programa fue la formación en competencias digitales para Educación Superior), siendo sus objetivos didácticos el desarrollo de competencias digitales específicas en la lectura visual (visual literacy) y trabajo autónomo colaborativo (metaliteracy). El propósito fue plantear esta formación en el marco de una planificación universitaria a partir de un diseño instruccional y material didáctico web, siendo la modalidad en blended learning mediante plataformas digitales educativas y apoyo en técnicas m-learning durante la presencialidad (Wooclap). El curso se basa en un metamodelo estructurado en cuatro etapas. Se formularon los paradigmas, el modelo y el marco de aplicación desde la definición de una Taxonomía en Metaliteracy; se definieron las competencias en comunicación e información en web para obtener y editar conocimiento en entornos de objetos digitales y virtuales; se propusieron elementos para la evaluación del programa competencial. Se concluye que el modelo es aplicable en espacios educativos ubicados en la Modalidad formal, no formal e informal, que involucra a las bibliotecas académicas.
