Resumo

O estudo de usuários da informação científicana área das ciências agrícolas leva a Merendas sobre as características fundamentais que um moderno sistema de informação deve terá fim de contribuir para que a pesquisa agrícola se torne um instrumento eficaz na tarefa básica de aumentar a produção de alimentos. A análise da situação mundial no que se refere à produção agropecuária e de alimentos e crescimento populacional, os tipos de pesquisa e o fluxo da informação técnico-científica,constituem um sistema no qual são identificados três tipos de usuários: os técnicos que realizam a pesquisa,os técnicos que se dedicam à transformação da informação gerada e os trabalhadores rurais, que aplicam esses conhecimentos. Abstract

The study of the users of scientific information in the area of agricultural sciences, leads to inferences about the fundamental characteristics which a modern system of information should have. This will make the agricultural research an efficient instrument in the basic task of increasing the output of foodstuff. The analysis of the world situation concerning the production of foodstuffand population growth, the types of research, and the flow of technical-scientific information all constitute a system in which the three types of users are identified: the technicians who carry out the research, the technicians who dedicate themselves to the transfer of the informationand the rural workers who apply this knowledge.(MP)
