This paper aims to explore some potentialities of the notion of rhizome, not only as a concept but especially as a method for research, pointing out its resonances with the contemporary theme of networks. Taking as a starting point the ideas Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari about rhizomes in A thousand plateaus: capitalism and schizophrenia, we intend to point out some clues the authors leave about what this rhizome method is. More specifically, we to examine the principles of decalconomy and cartography, throwing light on their application to the study of networks.
