The subject of this article is social insertion in the scientific context, discussing the idiosyncrasies of those involved in scientific publicizing. The objective is to understand concepts, tendencies and actors in contemporary scientific research. The publicizing of science is investigated based on work published between 2010 and 2014 in national Intercom congresses using methods of bibliographical research, principles of content analysis and scientometry. The conclusion notes a preference for topics dealing with health and environmental issues and investigation of traditional media.
