The Campo Grande Science and Technology Fair (FECINTEC) is held annually by the Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS) and showcases a significant number of projects with innovative potential that may be eligible for intellectual property protection. This study aims to develop instructional materials that help disseminate concepts related to Intellectual Property (IP) to the authors of the FECINTEC projects. To achieve this goal, the participants' prior knowledge and gaps regarding IP fundamentals were identified and structured, serving as the foundation for creating instructional materials in the form of comic books. As a result, a script for the comic was developed by applying IP concepts and creating characters inspired by regional aspects of the Campo Grande city.
