In this research, the 4I Organizational Learning Model was applied to understand the process of identifying and exploiting opportunities by three female entrepreneurs in Belo Horizonte (MG). A qualitative and descriptive methodological approach was adopted, with data collection through interviews followed by content analysis. The results revealed difficulties in the female entrepreneurial process, from the conception of the idea to the development of the business, highlighting time management as the main obstacle due to the multiple roles performed by the entrepreneurs. It was observed that female entrepreneurship is a tool for empowerment, financial emancipation, and personal and professional fulfillment, constituting a social phenomenon that goes beyond the economic issue. The research demonstrated that the 4I Organizational Learning Model allows for a deeper understanding of the entrepreneurial process compared to traditional models.
