Abstract

This study examines the relationship between innovation culture and institutional isomorphism, exploring how its dimensions drive innovation. The literature review covered twenty highly cited Web of Science articles with innovation and culture in the title. Content analysis identified 49% normative, 23% mimetic, and 19% coercive elements, while 9% had no isomorphic characteristics. The findings highlight that professional norms, institutional networks, and regulations play a key role in innovation diffusion, while some organizations develop innovative practices based on international dynamics. This study contributes to understanding the impact of institutional pressures on innovation culture, emphasizing the importance of internal and external factors for innovative strategies.
